Jeans are worn by most people today, if not at work, then usually on weekends and after work. In fact, jeans are worn so often by so many people, that you would have a hard time going anywhere without seeing indigo denim. If you find the sea of blue denim monotonous, you can add a touch of originality to your wardrobe by dyeing your jeans another color. You can choose from a large variety of different color dyes for your pair of jeans.
Instructions
- 1
Fill a bucket or large container with hot water. Add enough water so that you will be able to submerge the jeans but not so much that it overflows.
2Add the clothing dye to the water. Check the package before adding it to the water to make sure you combine the right ratio of dye to water. Different dyes may require a different ratio of dye to water.
3Rinse your jeans under warm water until the denim is completely wet. Add the jeans to the bucket of dye.
4Stir the jeans around the dye using a stirring stick. Stir the jeans for 10 to 30 minutes.
5Remove the jeans and rinse them under warm water until the dye stops running. Place the jeans in the dryer to dry or hang them to dry.
