If you're hemming or adjusting the length of your jeans, you may have to also remove the crease from the previous cuff. Removing a cuff crease from denim can be done easily at home with a few tools.
Instructions
- 1
Lay the pair of jeans flat on a table. Turn the cuff inside out to expose the seam.
2Remove the stitches in the cuff using a seam ripper. Unroll the cuff and turn it right side out.
3Mix two-parts white vinegar to one-part water in a spray bottle. Spray white vinegar liberally on the crease.
4Lay the jeans on an ironing board, and place a no-lint white cloth over the crease. Press the crease with a warm iron. Turn the jeans over and spray white vinegar mixture to the other side of the cuff. Repeat the ironing steps.
5Place the jeans in the washing machine once the crease has been completely removed. Wash as normal and place in the dryer or line dry.
